Zimbabwe Prime Minister Tsvangirai Rejects Black Ownership Law

Zimbabwe Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai said he has rejected as “null and void” regulations published yesterday requiring companies valued at more than $500,000 to be black owned.

The regulations were passed without “due process” and have no force as they were gazetted without consultation with government, according to a statement published on his Web site, dated yesterday.
